March comes to an end and so the first quarter of this year. It’s been so quick to go by and yet I feel like my energy is all used up for 2026. It’s been trying lately. I am tired. But I also had some amazing things happen in March. So maybe I just need a phase of recovering, regrouping and reevaluating. It is a strange feeling that a dream and a goal I have worked on for so long has been crossed off my bucket list. So what is next? Maybe it’s a dream hangover? Nevertheless looking back with curiosity what March had in store and even more curiously what April’s promises are. Let’s start.

I satisfied my curious mind by
  • picking up books again – but it’s very slow reading lately.
  • learning about the Samí people of Scandinavia and the language Meänkieli.
  • learning new things about the human lung while interviewing a doctor.
I satisfied my curious life by
  • doing and surviving my Arctic Adventure.
  • stepping out of my comfort zone.
I satisfied my curious connections by
  • sending out postcards and a letter.
  • having a night out with my sister and her boyfriend and my husband in a comedy club. Fun.
  • spending a weekend with the church council to map out a plan on where our focus is.
I curiously continued my health journey by
  • trying out apple fitness and see how I like it.
  • getting new migraine medication.
I tickeled my curious soul by
  • giving myself a few days after the article trip to mull over the experience.
  • making the best of the canceled easter vacation by enjoying pockets of time and doing things slower.
I was most curious about
  • northern lights and snow.
  • natural dyes and easter egg coloring.
I did one new thing
  • sleep in a tent in the snow.
  • saw the northern lights.
  • prepared my terrace garden with the help of AI.
I managed to check off a few not so curious things
  • moving my husbands office to a smaller space. Listening to his thoughts on the situation, how to proceed, feelings, annoyances… the whole package.
  • picking up trash because my neighbors are idiots when it comes to recycling and putting trash into the trash bin.
  • doing a deep dive into accounting to get back on track in my business, had a meeting with my accountant and paid too many bills.
  • Deep cleaning the kitchen and oven. But so many more things need attention.

Blessed are the curious for they shall have adventures.

After my exiting March I think I need some stillness, quiet time and recovering. I also feel like I need to get some deep cleaning – physical, digital and mentally done. My following list – hopefully – reflects that.

I will tickle my curious mind by
…attending live calls in my AI community, post one workflow in community, have my regular AI co-working with my friend.
…pick up a book by an ethnicity I know nothing about.
…embracing the teachings and hardships from my arctic adventure.

I will tickle my curious life by
…doing and finishing the golf course and have a license in the end.
…trying the easter egg dying project I came up with.
…planning and preparing my terrace garden and start seeding.

I will tickle curious connections by
…hosting a family brunch on Easter Monday.
…having a lunch meeting with a potential new friend.
…getting back to blog reading and leaving comments with my online friends.
…enjoying my church volunteering role. even though its a lot. But I like the connections I make.

I will curiously continue my health journey by
…using apple fitness and testing it out.
…making a new fitness plan and set up a routine. I feel like raising my cardio fitness is something I should be focusing on.
…joining Elisabeth Cool Bloggers Walking Club.
…making an appointment for skin cancer screening.
…going to dental cleaning and check.
…cutting back on coffee (I am at 4+ cups these days).
…getting back to better eating – fresher foods, more proteins, less sugar.

I will tickle my curious soul by
…giving myself a month of slowness.
…enjoy natures awakening.
…fresh air.

I am going to be curious about
…stillness. Meditation. Affirmations. Healing. Maybe looking into Tai Chi.

I will commit to the following not so curious things
…deep cleaning the terrace floor and make it pretty again. This year we borrowed a pressure washer – so no more broom action.
…updating my portfolio and CV.
…keeping my office mostly clean and tidy.
…clean and check my bike, tighten screws and pump air. Bike season is upon us. And if I feel good I do the husband’s bike as well – maybe he will be convinced for a little bike ride then.

Any curious things happened in your life? What catches your curiosity lately? Name one thing you learned in March. Any curiosities you want to explore in April?
