What I said was this. At this very turbulent time of my life, with the end of the school year for me and the kids, with a few big trips coming up (Russia first, alone, then France with family) so it is turning out to be a summer of travel. But, as you showed above, I can always, always come home and be happy.
Yes coming home and having a place to call home can be so calming in times of trial.
I hope you are having save travels and that you can still enjoy the summer.
I feel you. I really struggled when I started the project and debated if I feel comfortable doing it. I used a book from a free little library and I did t destroy the book just elevated it. So for me that is ok. But I understand your thoughts completely.
What a lush photograph! Ballpoint on book paper sounds divine! And I love altering books, but I have not done a book dedicated to blackout poetry. Perhaps that is a good future project.

Love this so much, Tobia!
Love to hear that.
This is PERFECT! I love it so much. You’re a true artist, friend.
Right from the heart.
And I know I am not turnings one.
This is SO COOL! I love Wordless Wednesdays. This brightened my day, Tobia!
It’s been a while since I posted them and I need to get back in the habit. So many more in my book.
Best little poem ever! Love home too.
We are all homebodies. Or is it home buddies?

As a book lover, I am kind of scandalised by the fact you’ve drawn all over the page of a book! But the words reach out to me. A lovely sentiment.

This is beautiful! Both the sentiment, and visually. I hope you post more of these!

Oh yes it’s a really great project to do. I bet you would find wonderful art hidden in a book.
You know I LOVE your blackout poetry and this is a truly gorgeous little poem. You wow me with your creative talents.
Ahhh. I know you love them and I am happy each one touches you.
