Inspired by Daria’s earlier post I made the effort to also document one week of outfits. I am not very good in taking selfies. also I am not very good in finding the best light and make the effort. But I took the photos. My plans for Saturday and Sunday were different. I was supposed to attend a conference from the democratic association I joined last year. And Sunday my mom and I were supposed to be at the country home. But I felt really sick on Friday so I canceled all plans. For those days I got out my best home wear and tried to style what could be styled. Have mercy.

Monday

monday outfit

Newest piece: the pants, bought in August 2025

Oldest piece: scarf, Christmas present by my parents probably 10 years or more ago

Best bargain piece: backpack – has some scratches and I wanted to return but the store said to keep it and returned the money

Most expensive piece: outdoor jacket – bought that for the weekend I got my boating license. So basically used birthday money.

Handmade piece: earrings made by my friend

Tuesday

tuesday outfit

Newest piece: backpack, July 2025

Most expensive piece: winter coat, also the most expensive item in my closet, bought 2020

Handmade piece: none

Special item: earrings have been bought on the island of Murano, Italy.

Wednesday

Wednesday outfit

Oldest piece: pants, bought in Venice 2019, didn’t wear for many years but is fitting again, actually too big as I realized this day

Best bargain piece: backpack – has some scratches and I wanted to return but the store say to keep and returned the money

Most expensive piece: boots, bought Jan. 2025

Handmade piece: earrings and necklace

Noteworthy: I wear my hair open. Never happens but I managed a whole day.

Thursday

Thursday Outfit

Oldest piece: Sweater from 2018, it’s asymmetrical and I love it. Should wear more often, very warm

Gifted piece: wool scarf by my parents, don’t wear often as a bit scratchy, very warm, love the style

Handmade piece: gray earrings

Mindset: When I wear this sweater I always feel fashionable for some reason.

Friday

Friday Outfit

Newest piece: Jeans and hoodie, July 2023

Oldest piece: scarf, not sure where and when I bought it. It has silver dots.

Most expensive piece: Hoodie, chosen by the husband, I would have never gotten it as I didn’t need it. Kept it, paid the husband.

Handmade piece: none

Saturday

Saturday outfit

Newest piece: sweater, yoga shirt, very soft, bought, September 20225

Oldest piece: blue scarf

Best bargain piece: sweat pants, 6,99€, bought 2023

Most expensive piece: cardigan, choose and bought by husband, would have never picked it, kept it, paid him

Handmade piece: none

Can you tell how excited I am to get my picture taken.

Sunday

Sunday outfit

Oldest piece: sweater, can’t remember when

Handmade piece: none

Noteworthy: Everything I wear here is so old and worn so much that the cost by wear is below 0,50€

And this was one week of outfits. I know you can’t see everything in detail. Sorry.

Are you taking good outfit photos? Any outfit you like the most? What color is your wardrobe mainly? Do you have pieces older than 10 years? 20?

I do not take outfit photos—unless someone takes it for me. I am terrible at selfies and whenever I take one, I almost always delete it immediately. My favourite outfit is the all black, with your hair down, looks very elegant. I do have pieces older than 10 years. If I buy something and it is comfortable and I like it I just keep wearing it until it falls apart.

I am not a fan of taking selfies either. They are rarely good.
Ha I guess I should wear my hair open more.
My oldest piece of clothing is from 1992. I need to fix a seam but otherwise it’s indestructible.

I love this! You have such a great style, and you make me want to try wearing scarves again. I love the teal look so much. What a fun color. Your boot slippers (?) look so cozy, too!

I really embraced teal this year and I love that look. „Unfortunately“ the pants are too big now with all the sports I’ve done this year. It’s really hard to find a replacement.

My boots slippers are the best. They may not make it through the winter though. *sad face*

I love your outfits, Tobia! You look so stylish and sophisticated, yet also comfortable, which is of the highest importance to me these days. I also love the collage you made for your main photo with all of them together!
I love the boot slippers, and I’m a bit obsessed with the long cardigan. They look so cute and comfortable.

Ah thanks. I love comfy clothes too.
The long cardigan is so good. I only wear it at home. I wouldn’t really know how to style that for leaving the house.
The main collage is done in Canva.

You have a great style – I would pretty much wear everything that you wear. I love cardigans and scarves/shawls! And yes, I have a lot of clothes that are older than 15+ years LOL (at least they still fit? And haven’t fallen apart yet? This is good – yes? :)

A very sustainable wardrobe. Would you wear the teal one? I have so many clothes from 15/20 years ago that DO NOT fit. But i slowly moving towards them and a few pieces are back in rotation.

Your comfy clothes on the weekend look SOOOO cozy. (Mostly impressed you put on a belt on Friday when you were feeling crappy, haha.) And you look so stylish on the days you had to be out and about!

That Friday outfit might have not looked like this weren’t it for the challenge. HA. However I always get dressed when working in the homeoffice. The belt is actually necessary because I lost so much weight and I should discard the pants but can’t find a replacement so am keeping them and wear at home.
