I am not really sure how I came up with the idea of answering all 50 of these question but it did make it onto my bucket list. I have answered the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth batch of these questions. High time to chip away and answer the next couple ones…

31. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?

During my boat day with dad. While walking in the forest looking for mushrooms. When in a yoga flow. When laughing with the husband.

32. If not now, then when?

Later. No seriously, what does this question mean? I don’t get it.

33. If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?

Mhm… first I would need to identify what I wanted to achieve and haven’t yet. So basically I could look at my 1000 Things list and a thing that I would loose. No fun.

For the sake of answering this question though I say getting in shape. I haven achieved a healthy and fit lifestyle (yet). What I have to loose, my health. My future in a way if aches and pains and issue will dominate it just because I haven’t achieved it.

34. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?

Not really. I have a hard time not speaking. Listening is a struggle for me. Which doesn’t mean I can’t shut up but I cannot remember a conversation where I walked away with no words. Maybe in a bigger group when I know no-one it can happen that I just listen. Or when it’s a topic I know nothing about I usually don’t chime in. But when it is an opinionated discussion I usually have something to say.

35. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?

Because the loudest people are not the good ones. The kind, the loving, the reflective people are quiet. They are not as fast as to speak their mind. They reflect. They reconsider. They fact check.

But the loud ones are out there dominating. And so it looks like, that is all we hear. And lately I am wondering what would happen if men would shut up. Would we have a war raging in Ukraine? In Israel? Would Afghanistan be in such a state? I dare to say no. If I had one wish I think I would wish for envy to be canceled in this world. I truly belief all our problems would be gone.

Alright, this set of questions was weird. Not as much fun as the previous ones. But I leave you with a question: Is there one of these questions you could easily answer in one sentences? Is there an answer you would disagree? Or maybe absolutely agree to?

This post is the seventh of the series to answer all 50 questions. A thing on my 100 things in 1000 days bucket list.

I love the photo you have at the top. Water, boats, trees…lovely! I think the answer to “if not now, when?” is NOW. And then the question after that is essentially the same question, as in if I have not acheived it yet, maybe I should start now. I think it is supposed to be inspiring. There are things I have not acheived yet, but I have a list and I will be working on it constantly, so I am not really worried about what I have to lose, as I will get there eventually! Plus I expect that when I die, I will still have things on my list that I did not get to, because I keep adding to it!

I totally agree that the bucket list is never done because once you crossed everything off, you probably have some more experiences you want to have. I agree the answer to the question was probably now however I thought it was a stupid question. So maybe I was a bit sarcastic answering it but later.

I sometimes wonder about how people say that sometimes they get endorphins when exercising – running, yoga, etc. I do not get this feeling and I want to know how to get it!

I can’t identify with that either. I may like to do sports just for the fun of it or for the competition, but I hate sweating so doing it for endorphin rush I don’t know. Not me.

Wow, very difficult questions some not even formulated as good questions either, but I loved your answer to the last one – that is beautiful.

Your answer to the last question is so true and so beautiful, Tobia. I loved the post of you and your dad on the boat.

That was a special day with my dad on the water. The last question really how I see things.

Can you lose anything that you don’t have yet? That was a set of weird questions. I loved your reply to 35. The question in itself is one of the reasons I am apprehensive about any kind of religion but maybe you are right and the main purpose gets drowned out by the noise.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this one question was really stupid and weird. I think religion has its value and can really provide peace and comfort for people. But the things that are communicated and loud are usually not the cores of religion.

I disagree with the last question—not your answer, but the premise that religions cause wars. I agree with your answer, though. Envy and the urge to grasp and hold power causes so much damage. I love your answer to the first question too. Thumbs up for good times with loved ones and spending time in nature.

Yes, the last question was wrongly put I agree. It already assumes that religions are bad and I don’t think it is. It has so many good qualities. It is what we humans make with it.

I agree with you 100% on #35 – it’s the loud vs. the quiet. And the patriarchy vs. peace, always. So very frustrating.

For #34, I’m told I actually am a good listener, but I would never say absolutely nothing in a conversation. Even a conversation where listening is my role, being completely silent would feel unwelcoming/unfriendly (in my opinion, based on how I feel when being listened to).

Never disappointed when I think to visit your blog! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by again.

it is said that the loud ones dominate and crush the other voices. I have no solution on how to handle that. It is tiring and energy sucking but I fear it is important.

Listening is such a skill. And not saying anything doesn’t make a good listener according to this one book I read.

Have you read The Power? It’s an interesting take on what would happen in a matriarchial society. Spoiler alert: Power corrupts everyone. However, I think having more women speak up in the patriarchal society we live in would be a very good thing. If only they would be listened to.

I have those conversations with my mom where we don’t say much but I still feel a deep connection with her ALL THE TIME. I love them. Neither of us are huge talkers so I love that I don’t feel like I have to keep up a steady stream of conversation with her.

I did read the power. I didn’t like it much than we did in our book club. But I’m coming back to it more often lately and I’m a little sad that I gave away the copy I had.
That is so great that you can sit and just be together and not talk a lot. Those are the best moments aren’t there – just content and happy.

Aww, I remember the boat ride with your dad and I thought it was so special that you got to spend this time together.

I also 100% agree that the loud people are usually not the good ones (know anyone? LOL) .

What do you mean you know one? HaHa I might be able to add a few more.
