It is time for another blog treasure. I really wanted to share another recipe but since I did a recipe last month I kept digging and found something else.
I excavated a real treasure. Not because it’s an outstanding mind-blowing blog post. No, it is the post where San makes the first appearance on this blog. It was July 2014 it seems. One and a half year after I started blogging. I totally forgot about this blog post. I knew roughly when we met but having found this was truly a treasure.
All mentioned links in the post are no longer working though. But there were some good resources at the time. So many blogs that are dormant or gone. But we are still here. Because we are the cool bloggers, right?
Anyways, I am so happy San and I got matched at that blog improving challenge Katja hosted. Thank you San for being such a great blog friend through all this time.
I remember our long emails. Not only about blog stuff but about family. Things that never have been published on our blogs because they are just too private. Names of family members. Adventures. Random stuff. There are still in my inbox and I’ve reread some of them a while back.
I also remember creating our new look and feel for the blogs. Going back and forth and giving each other feedback. It has been so fun. And I learned a lot from a seasoned blogger like San. I vividly remember San’s logo being created back then.

Ah thank you. While Sans blog stayed similar I did a major change two years ago I think.

I am so so happy how big the blog community has gotten. For stretch of a few years it felt like we were on our own.
And yes, so good to have you around for so long. One day we’ll have a coffee in real life.
