Only a few more minutes until the first of September is already gone. High time to finish this day with a little looking back with curiosity what August had store. It was busy and not busy. I managed to do a lot and it also felt a bit lazy somehow. a somewhat weird but good month.

I satisfied my curious mind by
  • reading three new to me authors.
  • reading one book for my read around the world – Armenia.
  • two co-working sessions with my friend.
  • deep diving into some AI stuff and I feel I have unlocked the next level.
  • finished two Canva courses.
  • learning something about cryptocurrency.
I satisfied my curious life by
  • asking for details about the craft market I plan on exhibiting. Unfortunately it’s not gonna happen.
I satisfied my curious connections by
  • hosting a Dominican Night with friends.
  • enjoying a long phone call with my mom.
  • meeting with my best friend.
  • lunching with a budding friend.
  • attending two (online) networking events.
  • managing three golf dates with the husband.
I tickled my curious soul by
  • taking a hot bath, reading my book and doing a sound meditation followed by some star gazing.
  • harvesting home grown herbs and salad leaves.
  • dabbling in some cyanotype. Results not too good but I am hooked.
  • folding a ton of little stars. I think I am at 300 so far.
  • making some fun nail art – used some tiny nail stickers.
I curiously continued my health journey by
  • going to the doctor’s office for some blood and urine samples.
  • trying to start the three week strength program – I had to start over and then got stuck because it was so hard that I got migraines and couldn’t move for a week. I am battling if I restart at the beginning (again) or if I start where I left off.
I was most curious about
  • Aborigines
  • Suriname
  • side hustles.
I did one new thing
  • making platanos fritos und Bocadillos de Yuca.
  • using an air fryer for the first time.
  • joining a golf club.
  • making kimchi from melon bark. So good. Want a recipe?
I managed to check off a few not so curious things
  • deep cleaning the bathrooms.
  • washing all throw pillows.
  • moving all my Evernote notes and deleted my account and the software.

The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.

I will tickle my curious mind by
…reading 2 books for my RatW challenge.
…reading 4 new two me authors.
…diving into that AI task I am working on.
…doing two AI co-working sessions.
…attending our elections and informing myself accordingly.

I will tickle my curious life by
…visiting one museum (most likely with Melissa). Yeah.
…booking a last minute vacation. Hopefully?

I will tickle curious connections by
…meeting a blog friend (yeah!)
…spending birthday afternoon with my sister.
…meeting with best friend.
…golfing dates with the husband.
…celebrating mom’s birthday and hopefully her retirement.

I will curiously continue my health journey by
…going to my general check-up including some vaccinations.
…starting my Zumba course.
…limiting my coffee intake to max three cups (it’s been crazy lately. Don’t ask).
…managing at least 1 liter of water a day.
…working on no sugar during weekdays.

I will tickle my curious soul by
…folding stars and planning my craft table for the church advent bazaar..

I am going to be curious about
…fundraising stuff.
…side hustles.
…money stuff.

I will commit to the following not so curious things
… sorting through my download file and desktop file chaos.
… getting rid of my laptop → roll-over goal. And maybe the old phone and Apple Watch as well.
… cleaning my room. → roll-over goal. Its becoming dire…
… sorting through my wardrobe. → roll-over goal.
…reaching out to the landlord with some minor issues.

Any curious things happened in your life? What are you currently curious about? Any curiosities you want to explore in September? Least favorite thing on your to-do list in September? One person you hope to meet in September?
