It is Halloween for most of you. It’s a holiday I couldn’t care less about. I may even be the Grinch not opening the door. However what better day than to publish a Top 3 Bottom 3 of creepy things.

Top 3 Creepy Things

Top 1 – Noise & Music

I wake up the second there is a sound that’s not supposed to be there. Voices at night in the hall way. Weird unknown sounds I cannot file. Music in movies can easily creep me out and I have been know to mute scenes or cover my ears.

Top 2 – Heartbeat

Have you ever heard your own heartbeat? Like when you are in the bathtub and go under? It’s such an eerie thing. I cannot stomach it. Image you hear your own heart stop beating. Arghhhh Creepy as F***.

Top 3 – Aliens

They just creep me out. Mainly how they are portrayed in movies. I can however read about them. Remember that movie “War of the worlds”? It was one of the first things the husband and I watched. There is this one scene where you only see shadows passing a door. This scene is forever burnt in my brain. I was so scared that I told Mr. ♡ to stop so I could go to the bathroom. Only I couldn’t leave as I feared there are aliens in the hall. Mr. ♡ being empathetic came and checked on me. There was this guy I really liked and one of the first dates but I had to tell him I cannot continue watching this movie.

Bottom 5 Creepy Things

Bottom 1 – Darkness

I actually like the darkness. Watching the stars. Listening to the animal kingdom. Once your eyes have adjusted it is just seeing the world differently. However don’t add creepy noises or aliens to the mix. That might be a whole other story.

Bottom 2 – Cemetaries

I find them a place of love. Each grave tells a story of people caring. Of course there is the odd one that seems to be abandoned but still their name reminds passerbys of the existence. Calm, peaceful, insightful – that’s what cemeteries are.

Bottom 3 – Clowns & Dolls

I know people are creeped out by clowns and dolls but they never had that scary feel to me. I am impartial I’d say. I guess going into a doll shop adding some creepy music it could be a whole different thing.

Your turn: Anything on my list creep you out? Anything you want to laugh in my face that this is creepy to me? What should definitely be in the list?

Your list is good, and I would never laugh at your opinions about creepiness! And thankfully, Halloween is over. I hope you made it through unscathed. Music in movies can definitely creep me out. I totally understand that. I find the sound of my heartbeat reassuring, and aliens don’t worry me too much. I also like darkness, dolls, and clowns. Cemeteries make me feel sad, but not creepy. I love your outlook on cemeteries, and I’m going to keep that in mind from now on. The only thing that I find creepy that’s not on your list is spiders! Aaaaak! I hate them!

I guess a lot of people find a heartbeat reassuring. And I would like to hear it when visiting someone in a hospital. Maybe even so if I am in the hospital listening to my own heartbeat. I’d rather not test it though.

Well, spiders are probably plentiful at your barns and estate. We have tons of spiders here too. I don’t mind the smaller ones that live in some crooks and crannies. ut we had some bigger ones over the summer and I admit I do kill those.

Yes, cemeteries are places of love. Sadness can be a companion but mostly there is love.
