Not many words today but a poem for you.
Eternal Dance
We dance in circles
around each other
never close enough
but still within the power of attraction.
Back and forth
pull here, push there
our dance is exhausting
taking energy from the both of us.
A day will come
and we are back
at that lovely space
where all is in balance.
Until then we dance
back and forth
push here, pull there.

I did. Thank you. During my teens I wrote a lot of poems which I found during the move and decided to give it a try again.
Beautiful – we all strive for that balance you describe, of course, but can also relate to the push/pull exhaustion that can also come in relationships…
